GTA Online: Monetary gifts to bring back players

GTA Online has been quite successful for some time now, though, many players have already closed this third-person-shooter chapter in the meantime.
The streets of San Andreas seem to be empty and likewise does the fun factor of the game. By donating 425.000 GTA-dollars to each player logging on into their GTA Online accounts, Rockstar tries to create a new hype and get people back to playing. PlayStation, Xbox One, PC - each and every platform user is welcome to collect his freebie, however, payout is not going to happen until May.

If it can bring or returning player to the game that's cool.

But like me most of them already got million and more money will not get them back to GTA.

Why they don't just offer something special that nobody already have ?
