It dosent matter its not like they know how to use it srsly even if they buy something from someone else its bcz they dont know how to actualy use the game srsly the game can be changed SOOOOOO much just from editing bins yet all i see arround is copy paste nothing really that new on all the (I WANT TO BUY THIS)

Can't really say it any better myself.

Some of us have the advantage of having learned to edit the game from s1 files with limited knowledge and tools. People who don't know diddly squat want to jump straight into s3 and they can't even get the DBserver working properly.

Look at what asdf, Dreto and others have done in the past (and hopefully me in the future) with regards to how they have changed the core of the game to bring a completely different experience to the players.

Don't give me any bull about how your theoretical server has staff who can do stuff and that there will be big updates in the future. They never happen. If you can't come straight out of the blocks with something truly original, you never will.

The status quo has been done so many times before, it's beyond boring to see it all recycled over and over again. Why does no-one come up with new ideas any more?

Because there are those people who invent the standards and others who just adopt those standards.

Why? There's nothing in any client that should prevent Onyx gear from working just fine :|

you won't call a models patch mini anymore :D

What's wrong with an extracted client and modded gem.cfg (slow client startup) or keep them packed in the gems and inject via a launcher (fast client startup)?

I don't get the mini patch obsession... at all. If players have problems with anything else then they have serious problems using a PC.
