I think I got it... so it's a new UAV design. It gives you 1% dmg and 1% HP per each drone. If you have 10 of them it gives you 10% shield and 5% HP (+10% DMG and 10% HP from the drones).
You can get it by crafting Havocs and Hercules or by doing Kronos gates.

so if you have 10 of them it will give you 10% dmg, 10% shield and 15% HP

Woha! HP and Shield bonus? Is BP trying to balance the game by not make updates only for damage?

The techs continue to make advances, and have now found a way to assemble a powerful new drone. The Spartan drone can be built using Hercules and Havoc designs combined with Schism, and will give you a boost to damage, shield, and HP.

• Spartan blueprint available via completion of the Kronos Gate
• Increased drop chance of Havoc drones in the Zeta Gate
• Increased drop chance of Hercules drones in the Kappa Gate
• The Spartan blueprint is available only after collection, and stays in your Assembly permanently

The exact cost of the drone:

• 1 havoc
• 1 hercule
• 225 schism

NOTE: This information is taken from the Unofficial DarkOrbit Reloaded. Means that even the cost of the drone can change.

You're not even alone. For me it takes all the tactics off, because now you get Hercules and Havoc in the same config instead of two different preferences. So basically now you need to "redo" the tactics or then you don't need any tactics anymore.

Don't know, basically it's just useless, unless there's something else coming for balancing that in the near future. However, for me it seems that the DO should only focus on the server merges and game fixing, not new events and stupid drone designs, because for me it seems that the content creators should make the server merge and bugfixers fix the damn game.

Just 1 thing, a combo of hercules on fast and spartan on battle configs will be better than 2 spartan configs, just my 2 cents
