Mobile Game [darkorbit style]

Hello!

Some time ago i was kind of bored because I had some problems on my internet and my PC, So I started making a game on my Notebook using construct 2 and PowerPont (Not very professional programs XD, But it was the best I had available at the moment)

I made as a joke a game with the same darkorbit (2008) combat system with NPCs running acceptably, but I was wondering if I should invest the time and money to create a mobile platform game that looks like darkorbit but is not a copy.

I would like your opinion on whether or not to continue with this project
PS: It has no name yet
If you want I can put a version with an internal server available here for you to test but it does not have a very pretty interface yet XD:o

Project Information:
Quote:
#General#
Combat system running without errors (so far)
Basic AI working
#Client#
Interface is not ready yet and is not pretty
It works at 60 FPS on mobile devices even with huge amount of objects on the screen (200 - 500 Enemies)
A few visual bugs with the lasers and names (with the names is very rare)
# Server #
Works with an internal server (Offline)
I am doing the encryption of the data sent to make hackers difficult, but it is not the priority at the moment.
The dedicated server is going to be done in C ++ (Probably) but I'm still thinking about how to do it for a large number of online players.
I will try to use some VPNs to connect distant areas without creating multiple servers
Subtitle:
Red: High priority
Orange: Medium priority
Yellow: Low Priority
Green: Working fine at the moment

You can use google firebase for server I think, it will reduce your workload very much but I am not sure about that

Sorry for the delay to answer, some things to solve in college.

Well it looks like you had the same idea as I initially did :P, but I had some changes of plans:
I'll try to create a game that can be played offline (with a campaign or something similar) and online with a system of rooms with several different game modes.
Why not make a "mmo"? Creating a mmo similar to darkorbit costs a lot of money and since this is not a clone of darkorbit I intend to have an acceptable number of players online.

This requires good hardware a great connection and a very well encoded emulator (the emulator will take time to get ready even though I work as a team)
For now I will create a basic system of online rooms and an offline mode and I will post here to test. (It should be ready in 3 or 4 weeks because I still do not have money for the host :D)

PS: initially the system of defense against hacker does not exist so even the cheatengine will work perfectly

So it seems it's mostly better for tablets and/or OnePlus3T :D

The CheatEngine problem should be solved before releasing though.
