Offline V1.3

Got it working and all. Unfortunately it's entirely in Portuguese. So, how do I change it?

First, go to C:\Users\(Your User)\AppData\Roaming\Need for Speed World\Settings, and open the UserSettings.xml file with Notepad.

Next, Go on Edit > Find, type in "Language" (without quotes) on the box that appears, and press Enter. It should lead you to this line:

<Language Type="string">BR</Language>

Change the BR to EN, save and close. The next time you run NFS World, it should be in English.

Unfortunately no-one is maintaining an FAQ thread...
and I know even with an FAQ, things are going to derail 1 way or another...

There is no active NFS:W moderator, only global moderators.

One suggestion probably could be to build a FAQ or a quick list of links to guide noobs.

Ask them to REALLY READ THROUGH EVERY LINE OF TEXT or something like that before asking, as probably most of the time, it's been answered somewhere on the internet.

Another method is probably have 2 threads, 1 locked sticked thread for global moderators to update, 1 open sticked thread for discussing which links to add/remove, and everyone maintains their own link list, which the global moderators will have to reduplicate and add to the locked stickied post.

But anyways.. it's a mess here. (and on NFSCars a bit)
