SV's DC on name & GM's

01/12/2010 08:56 PussySlapper#1
I was botting two acc's with SV today and had one jailed.
The strange thing was on my main acc i always use DC on [GM] and this is the acc that got bot jailed, the other is a crap lvl 90 warrior which i dont care about and is not set to DC on GM name.
I happend to sit down at my pc and see my sh1tty lvl 90 botting in-front of a blue GM dumbo elephant :D. I let it go and the gm moved on...
20 minutes later i came back and sore my main had logged out, i logged in and was in jail. b1tch.

So my question to you fine gentlemen is:does Dc'ing on GM increase the chance of getting bot jailed? or is this just a case of bad luck - sh1t happens?
Thanks, and please suggest any ideas to decrease the chance of being jailed. besides not botting which is not an option :D
Btw this is my first time in BJail i have used SV on and off for a few years.

hackers packet...?
or you used conquer.exe that doesnt support sv?

thats why you got jailed

Im not up on what the "hacker packet" is but it could be.
but why would one acc bot in-front of a GM no prob and my other DC as soon as a gm is on-screen and it gets jailed?

Contact SV, dont post here, we do not offer support for SV.

GMs got normal accounts they play around with tho.

Korvacs, thanks for your reply. Im not asking for assistance with SV, i know how to use every function fine. In short i guess i was asking if other forum members use the DC on GM function or if they dont for some reason.

yeah Huseby your probably right, might have been at my spawn then logged a [GM] acc then see me log out on that instant.
I just thought id add a little food for thought, i think if i kept botting and didnt DC i would have had no prob. SV is pretty tame compared to a proxy which is... well obvious.

SV is also 10 times more stable, its also written by the same people who wrote the game, a basic strategy to earn even more cash.
The other way to get botjailed is to be camed.

And i know the most of GMS accounts in SnowWhite like TheHempKnight, Cindyz and a few others of the super mods from the official CO forum.

Depends on the knowledge of the coder and the server he is using.
A professional coder has no unstable proxy/bot.

What? You don't make sense.

SV is "rumored" to be part of TQ Digital so their macro is "stable".

Appologise i read your post and got the impression that you were looking for confirmation on the effectiveness of a feature within the app, obviously the best people to ask would be the people who created it, since they will have performed tests wont they.

GM's seem to re-enforce the idea that your botting if you DC on them; or at least this is what I was told based on information when JProxy was being run, this is why we implemented *stop on GM* not disconnect.

If SV is part of TQ Digital or not we will never know, or not for now.
That was also not up for discussion with the reply i made.

That's when i replied with that a proxy can be stable also depending on the knowlegde of the coder.
I never said that SV wasn't "stable".
Learn to understand what i said before commenting that i don't make sense and stop assuming.

If I said you don't make sense to me, then you don't make sense to me. What does that has to do with me assuming?
Stop trying to provoke flame/troll. o.o

as far as i remember one of the forums members a couple of years ago did some research into SV and 9net9 ... bla bla .... and resulted in finding that the head office/ business quaters (or some crap) are both located in the same building ..coincidence? ... really? cmon

anyway reguarding to the actual post. not only are there several factors as to why you have been botjailed. im gonna go with one of the most obvious two and what happend to me once, all your characters are coming from the same ip( unless your a wizz and have a scatterer (excellent for modified clients bots and scammers))... your characters come from the same ip so any modification within the client or any bots detected come from that ip and as tq like to be a pain in the ass they jail the character from that ip with the most online hours generally the persons main account. therefore if they detected you botting on several characters or a multiclient for example your main pays the price. BUT this is not the case if they catch you first hand or have video evidence.

if u like i can supply you with my fight with tq about how my main was jailed with not a scratch of evidence they could supply me with.
