Hey. I'm trying to play silkroad online on a private server. I downloaded Duckroad and Ruby but neither work when I open the silkroad.exe app. It updates and at some point I get an error.

With Ruby, I get :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

and with Duckroad I get :

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Am I supposed to do anything special? I didn't find any guide for playing on a private server... Do I have to copy the files to my silkroad folder?

Thanks.

Hey there, as far as I know, both of the servers got HWID limit. The .dll file contains some false positives. The only thing that you have to do is to disable your Antivirus/ Windows defender, then you will be able to update your client.
Good luck
EDIT:
It is safe, dont worry.

Please note it's not the same false results on every project, actually some clients are heavily infected, Don't disable your antivirus unless if you're pretty sure about it (aka a scan result is provided, if there're many users complaining about it so your suspicion in your place) I've scanned ruby/duckroad before and there's nothing to worry about ;)
