Hello Space Pilots,
During the beginning stages of our latest event, Permafrost Fissure, we discovered that some users were using an exploit that allowed them to collect Proxium without actively attempting to complete the galaxy gate. This constitutes a violation of our terms and conditions (Section 1.2.9), and can result in punishment up to a termination of the players account. After analyzing the game data, we have identified 142 players that abused this exploit. As there were varying levels regarding the amount of times the exploit was used, we have broken this group down into three tiers of punishment.
Tier 1 – Low – 1 Week Ban
Tier 2 – Mid – 2 Week Ban
Tier 3 – High – 1 Month Ban
The bans will go into effect at 0000CET 23.2, and will only be removed once the time has expired. Unfortunately we could not determine what items were gained directly as a result of using this exploit, so we will not be taking any further action outside of the bans. We will not tolerate any form of unfair play, but at the same time we will only take action when we are absolutely certain our information is correct.
