Alternate Equipment glitch

This glitch allows you to have the effects of a poison blade, mana backsword or health backsword without actually having them equipped.

All you have to do is equip either a poison blade, mana backsword or health backsword (Whichever effect you want) into your alternate equipment weapon slot.
*Note* if you press the button which swaps it from one type of equipment to the other and then back, you'll have to re-do this.

Archer verses archer helps a lot if you have a health backsword equipped I've found :)

This will probably be patched pretty quickly so exploit it while you can!

And sorry if this has already been posted, I searched but couldn't find anything.

Nope, doesn't work.

it does work, some mates and i figured it out on our server too, after some extencive personal research we concluded that it only worked with melee hits and remained ineffective with magical attacks and skills.



....also didnt post cause wanted it to remain unpatched

Archers are long ranged attackers. I have a poison blade on my archer. Doesn't poison for shit.

You gotta put the HP backsword as ur main equipment. Then put ur bow,sword,.... as alternate equipment. Then swap to alternate equipment. This works

Edit: This works with a poison blade. It didn't work with a hp backsword.

DOESNT WORK EITHER

How about this, equip a bow and a level 58 fire arrow from PC blacksmith in the alternative equipment slot, attack anyone with the bow and wait till the thunder strikes him, switch to original gear, watch the guy be hit with your high dmg from a long range, and will also hit all nearby players, quite handy for clearing out people in guild war.

Anyways..Sam, just try a poison blade on your main equipment and put a melee weapon in your alternative, for example, I use wand and it works 100%.

Lots of people were already doing so it sould've been patched in any case, most of the high levels on my server were going around with bows and fire arrows.

exactly why you search and can't find this.
because i post this all ready and and removed it so it won't get patched ...

Fatalstriking with a katana then switching to another weapon? That's just common sense, and I know TQ is aware of it, I wouldn't even categorize it as a glitch.

I agree Gabrola, I think of it as a bug rather than a glitch.
