Is this a real thing? and what is a certificate to make a hack work?

Certificate is to sign the coded driver and let windows load it.
You dont need it.

So someone saying they make "custom" hacks and saying that i need my own cert to run it is a scammer then?

Since BE Loves to Blacklist Cert's.
Its common that in Private Cheats People sign it with there own Certs.
BE cant Blacklist 1 and get all Banned ez.
