How safe is botting these days?

im an aolder player who took a long break ..

Wasn't banned since two years.

I am botting 3-6 hours per day boxes only and 2-4 hours aliens.
Also non of my friend was banned yet...

In general, at the moment, botting is very safe. There are some free pixel bots available, which don't have any reported bans at all- some people even claim to be botting 24/7 but I wouldn't recommend doing more than 16+ hours if you really care about your account.

The other option is a packet bot. There hasn't been a packet bot around since 2013 but 2 weeks ago a new team has released one. I can confirm that it works with the same efficiency as PBDO (maybe better) pre-death. Although they claim to have tested it for a year with no bans, it has only gone public for 2 weeks so only time will tell how safe it is :D

i botted 24/7 for about 6 months with a pixel bot and I am now botting 16-20 hours a day with DOB

Euhmm dark orbit is working to detect pixelbots at this moment.

No bot is "safe", all they need to do is start using the detector they did for old packet bots and then new ones will get players banned, pixel bots arent exactly safe but they are much harder to track than packet ones. Just because you havent been banned yet doesnt mean you wont be either, bot at your own risk and probably dont use your main x)

also palladium you say there hasnt been a packet bot for 4 years but what would you class golem as since it sent packets to the client? and got the people who used it banned until ink changed it to fully pixel

Memory mode is the "packetBot", no ban for using it.
And i didn't get any ban in the "Golem's Banwave" (in this time, 2 acc was ~20h/day)

I'm also an old player who came back afte a long break. I'm lready using nanobotBG nd its very good but I would like to ask you if I use it "savely". I'm starting it over 7:30 a.m. for 5-6 hours. Than I stop it and use it again 6 p.m. till 11-12 p.m. Usually 10 h per day at all. Do I have to use it less or its ok? What do you think?

I don't know anything about codding/programming but i'm sure it's not that easy to take pixelbots out like packetbots.And even packet bots seems to be back 2 game.

If you don't mind me asking, how come is it so easy to detect pixelbots? They just take screenshots and simulate a mouseclick where they think an NPC/bb is right? How can they differenciate between a human and a bot, apart from the number of hours they play?
