If I have full apis pieces and don't build it then pick up boxes on Zeus day do I have a better chance of getting more Zeus pieces?

You just wont pick up more apis pieces. Doesn't really increase zeus odds directly, just eliminates chance of apis pieces. So, technically your chances do inreases.

I did the same, i keep it 2 weeks to see how it is at the Zeus event, the chances are slightly the same. Just use your Apis, it helps you alot!
