Hello my friends, I'm looking for people who are interested in building a WarRock server. PM me.

I'm so tired of seeing people making private servers that are crappy and ruining this section. WarRock might be an older game but there is a lot of potential for a nice server.

I do 100% agree with you, we should be united together to make one sustainable and successful WarRock server instead of making many "1 month" servers (which is stupid because there is concurrency between servers, but they are all crappy as f***).

I've been playing this game for many years (Gamersfirst period) and it has improved a lot, I've not seen any limit yet. (Graphics can be improved, lag/latency problem can be fixed, new guns, new maps, new modes, new functionalities such as clan war,...). To be honest, I've never been on a game for more than 5 years except this one so, no doubt, I'm convinced that this game has a lot of potential and it should be utilized, this is why I am still interested by WarRock.

Personally, I have a programming experience (C++, C#, Python, Java), however I've never programmed for a WR server, but it should not be hard? I don't know if I am available right now (work), but I'll definitely be available in the future.

I might look into an open-source community project, if anyone is interested in that. There currently are no plans for it. I want to see if anyone is still interested.

There's allot of users with no knowledge about programming who just copy the public server files and release a p server, and when they run into a problem they ask us on the forums to fix it for them. That is not the way you should run a private server, this is also a big risk for the users that register on them because the owners have no clue on how to protect there files and user accounts.

An open source project would be nice but everybody would just open a server with again no clue about programming and it will end up with users creating 200 topics on the forum asking the most simple things (atleast if u know what you're doing).

Obviously it's going to be an source only project with no compiled binaries if I decide to work on it. This would avoid at least the absolute noobs and people selling files. Aren't you interested in it Ijzeredraak5?

Again this is just a thread to figure out if people are interested in this.

Ideas are always welcome, documentation of anything related to the client files also.
