I did a search, quite throughly but i couldn't find anything on a way to stop recieving gm messages. I messed around with stres.ini for a bit, thought it might be there, but to no avail. Anyone else know of a way?

I think its client based, why would they make that sever based...its just a waster of bandwidth...then again...CO is a memory whore so maybe there just trying to annoy us...

It's a normal message packet with type "GM", you could either disable this in the Conquer Online code or block the packets containing GM messages.

Anyway you could tell us how to the block the packets or take out from the code?

I think I know what they are talking about let me look at the files for a second and see if I can make a patch for it.

Well looking through the INI files for a few I don't see anything you can modify that would be able to block them.

you can block with packets, if you remember COPROXY has the feature of chat as GM, so copy that packet when you send it, and then use another app to block the message from coming again.
