Thanks for the useful post, reported for spam-

In higher Elo's you often roam very much.
Also AP Burst Supports are not as strong as they were last season.

It depends.
For the moment , Zyra is very good support. Alistar is buffed as well, too much cc. And as well, Janna is the top support as always.

Roam means runing around all lanes?

In soloQ i would recommend agressive, tank-supports benefited from the keystone mastery "Courage of the Colossus", but in high-elo only Thresh seems strong, the rest is easily abused by agressive and strong supports like Nami, Brand, Zyra or Karma.

If you think you can rely on your team Soraka works fine too.

thresh is not strong, and he wasnt the past year. he is a high skill champ and just so strong as the owner is.

Braum and alistar got more impact if youre not an Thresh OTP

There's 3 types of supports atm, Heal support (Soraka, janna, sona etc.) - all in support (braum, thresh, alistar etc.) - poke support (Karma, Zyra, Brand)
Heal supports > poke supports
poke supports > all in supports
All in supports > heal supports

so it really just depends on your playstyle and what you're against :)

I prefer Zyra and Thresh
most of the time I play Thresh, because I like his tankiness, but Zyra is a good Poke-Support, you just have to try it and pick the support that works the best for you

B2T: I would say that I prefer playing a Poke-Support

I would say either consistent poke supports (Brand, Zyra, Velkoz), peeling supports (Nami, Janna) and Tank supports (Leona, Thresh, Alistar).

Redemption or Solari is a 100% must and rest if ofcourse situational.

Roaming is when you go from bot for example to mid and ''gank'' or just help your midlaner out for awhile.

not sure why nobody mentions Malzahar , litterly freelo atm atleast gold 5 - plat 1 just time your ultimate on adc or jungler depends on fight , Use W to counter spells ya even after the W nerf it works to block spells if u predict them .

Do u want to play aggressive or defensive?
I'm an support main and play atm just tank support like Braum, Alistar.
But if I really try hard then I play Zyra, Karma, Malzahar or MF because they got and extremely strong poke and will carry your Lane with an bad adc.

I'll play tank support just if I know my adc is good.

If u need more tips I will do an guide for something like this questions.

BTW I'm dia supp
