u cant make +1 cos it doesnt work but is it possible to stop them from being used up? so like when u go to compose them with ur item they dont go away? have no idea if it can be done or how if it could.

dont no if this has ben suggested or what but i havnt seen it posted sorry if it has

hmm yeh it is one of the more interesting ones coz when you add it to the composition box it still remains in ur inventory... until after you push the compose button

Composing items works like this:
You put your main item in the box, and 2 minor items in the other boxes.
Then when you click compose, a packet is being sent with 3 UniqueItemID's, the one of the main item and minor items.
Then the server does checks whether this is a valid compose action.
Next what happens if it's valid is that it removes the UniqueItemID's from the 2 minor items from the database, means those 2 items don't exist anymore, and sends you a "remove-from-inventory" packet so that the client knows the items don't exist anymore.
Then it sends you an "item-info" update packet for the main item.

If you blocked the "remove-from-inventory" packet and tried to use the 2 minor items again it would tell you that they don't exist next time.

What do you mean 2 minor items?

Works fine for me with higher lvl items.

When composing, the two minor items are those which you use to improve the main item.

Oh so by miner you dont mean lower lvl, you just mean minor to the user..

imho minor is accorded to the quality cause i think you cant put 2 elite +1 onto a normal +1 to make the normalone +2(not that anyone wants to do it. just an example)

but i also think if you ever would be able to make the +1 stay and not disappear after composing you're also able to dupe cause that might be the only chance to tell the server that you still have these items. it won't be possible just to block the incoming packets that tells you to delete the items. as allready said, it won't have much effect.

crazy idea:

what if you dont even use your items? use someone elses =P is there any way to get an item ID from someone selling items in the market? if you can, try sending a packet using those item IDs as the items to compose

although doing that might give THEM the composed item instead somehow, so maybe try using their items only as the minor items and you have the one used for the main? :bandit:
