6.2 Server - How populated would it be?

Hi guys,

i guess we all know the epic 5.2 server from rzesua.

Since i got a 6.2 server (real 6.2, no 7.X stuff in it) working, i am thinking of putting it onto a server and enjoy playing with some ppl.

I tested it on a windows 7 machine for quite a long time now and it runs stable.

But how many of you would like a 6.2 server? Yeah, i like the good old times too, but if there won't be any others it won't make sense to set up a dedicated windows server with good internet connection (talking about 1gbit up and down), if nobody wanna play.

So... please leave your comment what you would think of 6.2 server.


There are little bugs that could be fixed, but it's nothing special (2 skills on each basic class are shown but not working and some mobs with red name appear as non-hostile mobs, but attack like they should. I didn't encounter any other bugs yet. :)

Good luck. Most PPL want highrate servers and easy gain of everything. MOST, not all. ;)

If:

1- Rates are low
2 - Npc buffers (coz we all know that partys will be nearly impossible in private servers)

Hi guys,

small update: I guess i will give it a try between xmas and new year, with a decicated machine with enough power (intel i7, at least 8gb ram (i prefer 16 to 24gb) and Gigabit Internet Connection).


For the rates and buffs i am not 100% sure, i will make some login-buffs, but i am unsure on how good they will be.
The rates itself: I think it will be like 2x exp, maybe 3x, not higher.
There are also npcs in horizon, which sell rank5 to rank7 stuff, also stamina savers and other nice stuff from cs.
The taming rates will be same as it was on 6.2 on real servers.

I am planning some ingame events, but not sure what kind of them. I would like some kind of a "win a pet of your choice" or something like that.



What i could use right now: Somebody who knows the databases well would help me a lot.
Acutally there is no need for a gamemaster at the start, if the server is well accepted this could Change.
