item description text color

i tried a search but got bored of seing only threads about duping/+1s on floor/bjx/<insert random bullshite> and gave up looking through the search results

i was wondering if its possible to change the color of certain lines of the text that appear when you mouse over an item, namely the line (if it exists for that item) that tells how many sockets the item has

and by this i mean, how the item name of higher quality items is differently colored, or the additional bonus from +1/2/x items, or the lines that indicate that your character cannot currently equip a certain item due to an insufficient level or wrong class and so on

good idea but i dun think it will work with +1s

considering we cant make a +1 "shower" (rofl) i doubt we could do this.

If so, it wouls invole editing the client too not just changing a .dat.

would it be possible to patch the client to use the same cursor info id when mousing over items in inven when mousing over items on ground? now im not sure how the mouseover in inven works, does it send a request to the server for its information every time you wanna see what it is, or whenever you pickup a new item id, it downlaods the info and stores it somewhere. anyways im just rambling. back to my pot of coffee i got.

I think that would be possible..

If that would be possible, maybe we could even take it 1 step further and include the items selling price. (Like when you have a trade window open)
You could see if the item is worth picking up for selling to NPC, could be especially helpful for noobs.
I still pick up items with my lvl115+ char and sell them, gives me a nice little extra on the side :D

So when you put your mouse over the item in your inventory,equiped/other players.

You want it to show the line that says "sockets" in a different colour?

I'll have ago....
