I need advice/guidance for 3 simple things

I am here in hopes some modding god can actually help a little nooby fellow
out with sound advice to achieve these 3 simple things.

1)full maps (the ones that show iria landmarks /field boss spawn location)

2)cancel dk/pally trans cutscene

3) any lag reducing suggestions for a windows xp user ( have done nagle etc)

I am aware there are many many ways to do these things but I am searching

for the simplest way a noob like me could accomplish these,

so any advice tips/links/suggestions would be very very much appreciated

1.) Get a map mod, found in tiara's mod
2.) Also found in tiara's mod
3.) Get the lagfix font, which is again, found in tiara's mod..

like i would fall for that, I have read everything related to the various mods I am seeking
how to accomplish the 3 things w/out using a package

Like others said, get Tiara. It is perfect for people new to modding, it gets you set up with all the good public mods. It also accomplishes all three of your "demands".

if you really want only those 3 specific things, get Tiara, install it, take what you need from the data folder, uninstall it, add back only your "demanded" items and use MAMP to read it.
