Hi, is this game cool?

Long time ago yes, but now only private servers like P4Story are good, offical server/publisher are 100% pay2win.
The PvP system of 4S is very unique but amazing (maybe old engine but is okay), also the begin isnt easy to understand, but I have fun for nearly 8years so its dependent what you like :p

In over 2 years I met a lot of people there who never used real money and nowadays they have 40-43 items (max3 months). Also, there is now more support for beginners, your "arguement" is invalid =P
Its a part of the game to work hard for the best items, every MMO have a similar way from lv1 to max Lv.

I was playing this game long time ago. When it turned to get more and more pay2win it stopped. But all in all it makes still a lot of fun!

So I would recommend you trying araz4Story, which is PVP server where you don't have to donate to become the best and the concept is literally perfect, stunning, just... brilliant. Yes, great idea. Let the Newbie just join on a pvp server, without experience/knowledge about the classes and mechanics.

And now stop advertising the server here. The OP asked a simple question, which already got answered and you come with a bad tip. :facepalm:

Everyone should test it himself what server is the best for the personal opinion. But recommending a PVP server to someone who has no idea of the game is not fair. Would you, if you never attacked someone, fight against the Klitschkos? Think about it if you are not brain-afk anymore.

If he wants to learn the game a PVP Server is the best choice, or do you think he will get better by binge leveling in Documents?

Yes its sure that you dont learn how to fight if you get fucked instantly at ardir by a 4buttons Archer. The balance in this game is ridiculous and 80% of all active players play the OPest class. So if a newbie now joins as mage or priest or warrior please dont try to tell me he will kickass. No, he wont even land 2 spells.

So what? Then tell me how he will learn to play this game? If he plays P4Story it will be the same as on a pvp Server, just that other than getting killed, he will have to farm to get equip to still get killed.
