Does anyone know how to disable/delete the thunderstorm sound?

Check the .ogg files.
Why would you want to disable such sound ?

Because even tho the sounds are muted i still hear the thunderstorm sound and its annoyin :D

Nah, this is what happens when you turn the sound off ingame. You need to mute SRO through your windows bar and loudspeaker options.. Thunderstorm sound will be gone completely then

I have never experienced this and I'm playing SRO since 2008.

Replace original sound with blank one. Problem solved no thunder anymore.
