Launcher Help

Hi, someone can help me to make a own launcher or tell me how to do it , i'm new using Vb so i don't understend how to make it

Learn basics of programming, otherwise it would be C&P only

to create the launcher need to use Vb basic?

You can create a launcher in every common language, for example VB Basic.

But i have the problem of the directory , i mean that I have problems with that because I would like to put the launcher to be put in the folder of the game no matter where people have that folder

You'll have to create a dynamic/relative path to the nostale folder, what means you'll have to create an "Choose File Dialog" ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])

So users will be able to choose the nostaleX.dat on their own. Otherwise you could try to use a Hardcode Path "C:\Program Filesx86\Gameforge Live\......" but this wont work on 50% of the user pc's and its quite unfancy.

but not there is form of to do that only alla that put the launcher in the folder of the game as this in nostale4DE?

Sorry i am latin xD , what I want to see is that I would like to make a launcher as the nostale4DE, the launcher of them only have to put it in the folder of nostale and ready to that is what I mean to do a launcher like that , better? xD

So you mean the launcher should be in the nostale folder? Check if the NostaleX.dat is in the folder and if it is, start your launcher.

no , you're wrong xD what I mean is that I would like to have the single launcher to put it in the folder where this nostale, regardless, that the folder C:\ or the launcherp desktop will operate

i have a question , the launcher need the direction of the vps to open?

But do you know anything about coding etc? Doesnt sound like that...

I think you don't know anything about computer, you need to understand basic about computer, after a little of programming langage.
