[RELEASE] New Cronus Map - without stands

Ok since I spotted already few similar questions considering cronus map and stands under there - yes lacking of free space to use :)

Here we go - simple patch for everyone who wish to make New cronus map - without stands ;)

so this:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

will be cleaned from main places ;)

and in attachment prepared patch by Demons Online ;)

NOTICE:
Important changes was made under:
- \data\map\puzzle\champaign\
- map\map\champaign.DMap

you need to extract from data.dnp the map data for market/cronus and edit the dds files directly (there will be heaps of them)

for the dnp extractor you need a old data.dnp which works with the current dnp extractors because nobody has one that works on the dnp files now

good question... what point in this?

ok lets see...

These stands are on 2 maps - old market and new market...
on new market their usages are of course important... on old market someone could wish to remove them along with clickable stands...
anyway doesnt matter reasons lets check possibilities:

1) Image of this stand is located exactly under:
\data\map\mapobj\cover\market\

* market70.dds
* market74.dds
those 2 files are responsible for how they look...

I am attaching those 2 files so you can edit them if you will wish to...

you can edit them by yourself into something totally different or you just can use one of images of market road (so it could look like normal background...)...
I am attaching an example of such a road as well - so you can make from it those stands ;)

this is first way how to do this....
and effect will look more like this:

however this way still not deleting everything since places where before were stands are still not walkable ... like something invisible would be there ...
to fix this you wold need to do second way


2) second way is to interfere directly into "champaign" files like champaign.pul and champaign.DMap ones (REMEMBER that if you know how and where - do it always via HEX!)


so this is how it looks more less...
