After Codemasters failed to renew their contract for the game of Archlord they bring us the new MMOG. This time it is the future. Battle in space.
This should be very similar to EVE.

In order to spread this game as much as they can they made this game accessible to pretty much all PC world wide because minimum configuration required to play this game is:
Quote:
OS: Windows® 2000/XP/Vista
CPU: Intel Pentium® III 800 MHz or AMD Athlon 800 MHz
RAM: 512 MB+
Network: 56k modem or better Internet connection
Video: 32 MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting
DirectX. 9.0c (included) and latest video drivers
Currently it is still in "alpha testing" stage, sign ups for beta are still open, if anyone wants to test they can still sign up.

Release was targeted in 2009 but they are still holding with the release.

There is no information will this new MMOG be free or not. A lot of speculations that it will cost around 15$ a month in order to play because you have the ability to pre-order the game but no download option.

It is possible that beta testers might be awarded with free memberships.

The game is being developed by NetDevil, a Louisville, CO based 3rd party development house. NetDevil will be running the game in the US, with Codemasters Online distributing the game to stores. Codemasters Online will be both distributing and operating in Europe.

Their goal is to launch this game in US and EU at the same time.

This is a great opportunity for all SF fans to start over ;).

I already signed up, did you?
