NFS:W Offline Xbox Controller Doesn't Work

Hi, I recently just got a Xbox Wired Controller with the intent to use it as a more comfortable way to race on NFS:W Offline. Only problem is... it doesn't work. No matter what I've tried, it doesn't work. I've tried plugging it in/unplugging it as the game is running, nothing. I've tried having it on as I boot up the game. Nothing. I have all of the drivers for the controller so it's not that. What can I do to fix this?

For those wondering, here is the controller itself:

Xpadder can help you , m8

You can download it and then do the right setup with you controller.

OK, cool. I looked at another thread on here about someone having the same problem and it really does seem like the only way to use a controller is to use Xpadder. Thanks for the help.

I own a "Genius Speed wheel 3". It doesn't work at all. Xpadder doesn't work either. Can anyone help me to modify the game files. To make it work?

Does anyone know how to modify the source files. So that the keys that one wants work and the Joystick work?

anyone wanna elaborate on how to get it to work? Like where do I keep the xpadder.exe file - in the game directory? and how do I associate it with the game executable?

If your controller is D-indput, then just find its name in the registry and change it to "Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)"
I have Logitech Controller (Rumble Gamepad F510) in X-input mode:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control \MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VI D_046D&PID_C21E]
"OEMName"="Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)"

If d-input, then here is a list of supported ones:
Logitech
Logitech® ChillStream™
Logitech® Rumble Gamepad F510
Logitech® RumblePad™
Logitech® Rumblepad™ 2
Logitech® WingMan® Cordless Gamepad
Logitech® Cordless Rumblepad™ 2
Logitech® Dual Action™ Gamepad
Logitech® G25 Racing Wheel
Logitech® G27 Racing Wheel
