If you thinks the closed area in the image. So the area can not be opened. You will need MapEditor that no one has not manufactured. For now it is not possible to modify the locked area.

you would need some sort of map editor. i don't think anyone has done it yet...
maybe someone will; that would be sort of cool, but hard to do at the same time, I would imagine.

Try getting a wallhack, and turning it off in different areas and see where you won't get stuck.
Though warn you... those barriers are there [
Quick and dirty way to test it and it let you answer your own question.
If you're desperate enough, I recommend you to start learning programming, and reverse engineering, and start studying the game files.
