What version of DO would you like to play?

I want to make a new private server PvE and I would like to know what version of DO players like most.

-Old DarkOrbit Version (2007-2008)
This version doesn't have EMP, RSB, Skill Desings, Rocket Launchers, Groups, ... (but it's pretty ;))

-Client Version 4.1 (2009-2010)
Was the one that was launched in Uridium Wars (a darkorbit server in facebook).
Note that this version can include RSB. (in Uridium Wars wasn't included)

-Client Version 7.5 (2012)
Is the currently used in UberOrbit, it has fullscreen mode, drone formations and ships like spearhead...


-Client Version 10.0 (2016)
Is the currently used in DarkOrbit.

Ah nice a PvE server, I would love to see more of them. 4.1 or 7.5 was my favorite personally. I think DO was in it's best state back before all the gates, designs (Saturn and a few of the other annoying to get ones), emps, etc, etc. Just x4, RSBs, and Hellstorms.

I think version 4.1 was where i had the most fun..Then they started adding too much stuff and it turned boring, I could play on 7.5 too, but that's where they fucked up, instead of adding events where you could have fun, or missions, they just started adding ships and designs and upgrades and lots of things that turned a really good and enjoyable game into a game where you couldn't have much fun because you'd get 1 shot'd by those who had money and those who would let bots running 24/7

So, in my opinion version 4.1 was perfect and actually i might give it a try :)

7.5 would be nice :D

I think the best one was , before adding the havocs then the game fucked up

Or before LF-4 was added.. the game was way more fair when we could all afford LF-3 as the best weapons.. and play with skill.

First, very nice I think I would have fun in any of the versions.
But I really prefer the old version(07/08) because for me this made the most fun.
Later 2010 version you had boosters and rsb and that stuff but no LF-4. That´s like a half finished game for me.
Either make the oldest version or the newest.That´s my opinion.
But I´m fine with what you guys voted, too.

Yes, the main difference between them is that the 4.1 has RSB and Pet.

I started playing DO in that version too, I miss that old version :)

darkorbti 2009 = old client :')
2007-2008 no ranks, and ggs ;,) and older hud ;'')

Current version with better price-performance and more players! So many stuff to play with and very tactical fights. But its to expensive and the most servers are empty.

We are in 2016 guys, i'm player since 2009 and yes i loved the old darkorbit. Anyways there are so many things i wont miss anymore in darkorbit.

Yes, good old times, but its gone .. :)
