Are you trying to restore your database? I am not sure but it could be a wrong version of database.

You are using maybe mssql 2005 and trying to restore bak files that has been running on mssql 2008 that wont work.

Yes, im using mssql 2005 because i don't know how to install mssql 2008.

Where did you get your backup files? It could be backup files from version 2008. Just saying. :)
