I can't run Metin2 on my dedicated graphics card.

Hello.

As the title says, I can't run Metin2 on my dedicated graphics card. And the only way it works it's through the on-board graphics. I have a laptop "Lenovo y50-70 with Intel Core i7-4720HQ, 16GB RAM, (on-board graphics) Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and dedicated graphics card GTX960M. Windows 10 64bit. (BTW, all other, newer games work just perfect!)
I have all of my drivers up to date and I've tried literally everything, I have been trying to find the solution for weeks.
1- I tried to re-install and install all updates, older and newest versions. Currently I am using everything up to date.
2- I checked in BIOS if I would be able to disable the on-board graphics, but it didn't have the option there.
3- I disabled and also uninstalled the Intel 4600 from device manager, but whenever I tried to run Metin2 it gave me a weird error "Metin2.CREATE_NO_APPROPRIATE_DEVICE". Of course I tried troubleshooting and everything possible but i always ended up with the same error.
4. I tried in compatibility modes to run it under windows 8,7,Vista,XP.
Guys.. I really really need your help and It would mean so much for me if you could help me out.. I have been struggling with this for ages!!
thanks for read and your help!

Does your laptop have a energy switch option? Like the turbo boost button on some MSI GE models?
Maybe thats the problem. That thing switches between eco mode and boost mode. Eco mode = onboard graphics card, boost = GTX650M. Maybe your driver for that option is disabled or damaged

Thank you for your answer.
But my lenovo with gtx960m does not have that option nor button unfortunately :(
I don't know what else to do.. metin2 is a game i play only and i can't enjoy it with this flawless laptop..

Any other ideas? :(

i think its a problem with your OS windows 10 is i mean not compitabel with the most of private servers out there. can u reinstall the system with windows 7 and then try it again i think thats will solve your problem.

Or he just edit his energyoptions and set it on maximum power

It has always been on maximum power.. I don't know if i can re-install windows to windows 7 without affecting the warranty. + I don't have a windows 7 CD.. I don't understand why its only metin2 that does not work with dedicated graphics card... All other games are fine.. :/

You got nvidia, right?
Simply use Nvidia Systemsettings and set the graphic settings for the specific client there to your gtx.

And voila -> works fine.

And for all of your Server admins out there:

extern "C" { _declspec(dllexport) DWORD NvOptimusEnablement = 0x00000001; }

Forces Nvidia Optimus to always use the dedicated graphics card...

What do you mean by nvidia system settings? you mean the control panel? i already had set in every possible way the client to use "High-performance NVIDIA processor" in program settings and also in global settings... Yet it's not using the NVIDIA card..

You also edit your energy options in windows?

I always have it at "high performance" But I tried in all modes in balanced, high, also save energy. i am so frustrated why this is not working for me.
but yeah i edited it to high performance. i haven't edited it anymore just switched from balanced to high performance if that's what you are asking.
