Playable Dark Lightning Emulator

Hello Epvp. WtfBlub developed an emulator for S4 League Season 1 (Dark Lightning) named [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. However, he stopped providing support for it.

Some of you were trying to play it but didn't understand how to use it.

So here is the deal:

If you want to play it, you must remember this is a NOT FINISHED emulator.

• There are not fixed bugs and not implemented stuff.
• I will not keep it updated.
• This is just a for fun server to play with some friends in the old S4.

Now that you understand those, here is tutorial, but remember:
Some settings are pre-set here. So if you want to change anything, do it by yourself.

1. Install .Net Framework 4.6
   If you do not have it installed [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].
   
   
2. Downloading
   At the end of this post, download the file named NetspherePirates.zip and extract it.
   
   Download and extract the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
   
   
3. Edit your connection settings
   If you are testing on localhost, you can skip this step.
   
   Open game.json with notepad.
   Replace 127.0.0.1 with the IP you need to connect the server in "server_ip":
   
   
4. Port Fowarding
   If you are testing on localhost, you can skip this step.
   If you are hosting the server you should foward those ports to your host machine:
   TCP: 28002, 28003, 28004, 28005
   UDP: 22000
   
   
5. Starting the server
   Run RunServer.exe in bin folder.
   
   
6. Editing the FumbiLauncher.bat
   If you are testing on localhost, you can skip this step.
   Open the FumbiLauncher.bat with Notepad and edit the address "127.0.0.1" from -auth_server_ip:127.0.0.1 to your server's IP.
   
   
7. Logging in
   Run the FumbiLauncher.bat
   
   Once the game is running, you can input any username and password so your account will be created
   (however, if the username already exists, it will not create a new account, instead it will just try to log in)

I know: "I'm not going to answer any questions. " But humor me.

Have you done any edits to this wiz? I tried blub's season 1 emulator recently and once it was finally up, it was pretty unplayable. Even less than fagnet, it was quite incomplete. Have you experienced the same?

Yes I did.
Everything I've done here was to code a bit just to make it playable.
Then I used it with some friends and worked pretty neat.
So I decided to share that "playable" server, just to not let a good work be forgotten.

Thanks a bunch for the reply man. Well, did you add deathmatch? I'll definitely give it a DL if it's at least functional, but bonus points to it working with more than one mode. Anyway, thanks for the release, please follow up to this if you may. The question here, that is.

It'd be nice to know if...
-server no longer randomly strips you of weapons
-character creation doesn't bug out and not let you pick one of the 2 sexes
-no more mid-match sudden disconnections and server crash
-if other modes work besides TD

Sorry to pester, but it'd be very helpful to know what's been fixed up from just that list.

Did it? lol
If it does just rejoin the server (there is a log out button in this patch)

-character creation doesn't bug out and not let you pick one of the 2 sexes
I know there was a bug while changing some items while creating a character, but I think I completed the code for it.

-no more mid-match sudden disconnections and server crash
The code to change characters in half time was incomplete

-if other modes work besides TD
BR, DM and TD were fine... I don't remember any problem

Yeah, attempts to load anything besides TD as of his latest version would result in the starting the match and all, and after the players spawn in, the match would instantly end and go to the victory screen.

Also, we can expect basic functions like, buying items from the shop, having multiple characters, switching characters at half-time, and all to work, yeah?

Just got it up and running and tested it out, it's excellent wiz. I would like to inquire though if you're going to release the source of your edits, like you did with Huenato?

Getting an error when opening Game.exe

When i input username and password i wait.. (Connecting...)
and then Failed to authefocation (Time out )

Added items with different textures that were missing.
Update your all your emulator files.

ik you said you and pinki will not help ppl with the client but is it possible to start a game alone like in your old portable client?
