Although I agree with you that this method is moronic, Cheat Engine is a very useful tool. I can execute almost every cheat method that exists using Cheat Engine rather than programming a dll or another program to modify memory. It's much faster to use cheat engine than to write your own program in almost all cases.

I love when people tell me "oh you need packet editor to use that dupe method". No, you don't. Why would I need to work with the network interface when the in-application memory is so easily accessible? There hasn't been a dupe on Flyff I couldn't execute with Cheat Engine.

You guys do know it's a fully functional debugger with extra features specifically useful for game hacking, right?
