hmm, might give it a try. I've always been more of a boi fan, never liked woi. woi mystical's market seemed poorly balanced, but this server might be good for learning how woi works.
so i'm gonna give it a try, but need a quick woi-provate-servers guide.

in boi it was simple:
slayer for endgame pvp, magus for combat aid grind and mid game pvp, heretic - obvious. rest is useless.
you start a char, you xp around till lvl 20, run some KJ, run some DEs, run TOB/FD/DI, then bot/run gear instances/bosses till end of times.

simple, straightforward game. now what about woi? could someone give me some quick woi devastation hints?

It has LC patch. Each class is useful in its own way. No overpowered picks.
Pretty similar to boi, except few new functions that you'll learn quickly.
Follows the same principle though, like you said. Shouldn't be that hard for you to learn. We're all friendly, waiting for everyone. A lot of new comers are already here playing and enjoying it. Watcha waiting for?

Excited to try. But when I click on Start after extracting, nothing happens. Restarted pc, redownloaded the client but still the same thing, nothing appeared.

have you tried unblocking your game.exe file?
go to bin, right click on game, go to preferences and click unblock

well ... i just did play WOI in Closed Beta .
But from the looks of every1 review .... guess i should give a try :)
