I have a question.

So I've been messing with the 5165 source....

And it seems I cannot get the client to connect with the database.

As soon as I enter my info for my account and press enter the client crashes.

But if I let it sit for about 3 minutes it gives me the server maint. error.

Anybody have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Your ports open?
This is only if run no hamachi.
If you run no hamachi and ports not open, then you are
not allowed to connect server.
So if want it fix you need to open ports of router or make it hamachi.

Well. I opened the ports.

I also tried using my Hamachi... =.=

Still no luck.... Anybody else know any reason why this could be happening.

I'm getting no errors on my console. So i'm thinking the client is not even connecting =.=

Hmmmm, you sure you made all ips right in client,source,database?

I thought I only had to change the ip in server.dat and for the config.ini?

#Cleaned and .Rex got an infraction.

Client probably has protection against connecting to localhost (127.0.0.x). Causes the client to crash when you try to login. Also might have protection against hamachi IPs (5.x.x.x).

Either that or you haven't put the right IP addresses for the server to bind to/the client to connect to.

Well I tried my external IP also.... It still crashed... I put the Ip in the config.ini and into the server.dat....

Am I doin something wrong... or is there another place I'd need to put the IP.

Maybe you have the wrong client version lmao.
