you cannot freeze mobs completely. The best you can do is put mob speed on 0, which makes them move pretty slowly...

complete freeze would be useless like say in spawning, they would just spawn ALL over the place and not actually come to you where you can kill faster with less lag. So speed of 0, or 00000001 in your speed script is better in the end.

that is correct, it's best that they still move with speed on 0...
