Wizards with heavy armor are utterly nonsense. I removed the armor-class restrictions on my pvp server and no one was blasting shitstorms as "that is unfair, they are more OP now" to me or to other players taking advantage of that system as a european class.
It has not a impact what people are trying to imagine or listening to those rumors and misinformation that heavy armor usage on INTs will make a big deal.
The real defence / protection value lies upon stats (STR
AND INT) and accessories. Even with a newer GM armor (maxing stats, that even the character stat values getting capped) players with maxed obtainable gear are still hitting a decent amount of damage to a GM, not 1 hitting them, but yet able to cause real issues (5vs1 GM would make the deal).

The armor cap is at 38527, as phyisical and so for magical.
You are not invincible, even while wearing that armor.
The other one shows how ridiculous low the phyisical protection value is, worn by a wizard. [GM]Requiem has the proper stats (INT to STR ratio) at lv 140. So, nothing cheaty here. You are still not as endurable as you would wish against warriors and rogues.
Rather look up for accessories or stat pushers. STR/INT > Absorption > Raw protective values.
