As the title says. I haven't played for a bit and I don't get what the point is of upgrading iris. I know about lasers and generators and stuff.

Updating your drones (Iris,Apis & Zeus) will increase the Damage done / drone and also increase the Shield amount per drone to a specific percentage (Donīt have those numbers in my head but i bet someone here has!) :D
