Stop allowing shitty servers advertisements

so lately all everyone has been making SRO private server that's because its so fucking easy which opened a new way for those who are looking for quick buck/or just a guy with some pocket money a wanna be a GM, so they just copy and paste server files and open a shitty server for a couple a weeks and then closed because they can't maintain it

and if look closely at the pSRO advertisement section you start to actual shit slowly coming out of the screen (With the exception of a few servers and by few i only mean like 2-3 maximum that make it to the normal standards)

so i think that there should be at least restrictions for advertising like
"can't advertise unless your an old member of the forum or has high activity like threads/posts"

"can't make a server advartisemnt more than once or twice" (even tho it should be only once because if you made a server and wasting the forum members time by playing in your sever and then you closed it for whatever reasons it failed because, why should we expect the new server would be any different?)

or at least if he doesn't have to old he has to be highly recommended from an other forum member

just to make sure that not any kid can make a shitty server and come advertise it here or anything really just i think the worst thing is making it with no restrictions that shit attract shitty people and a lot of kids
because i think all the members of the forum would really appreciate of they can look up/search for a good server on ePVP and then after really really long search and relentless trying find a good server and then starts playing it and then ending up getting buttfucked because the guy who made the server either a scumbag or little kid with issues

Being an old member of this forum or having more posts than others doesn't necessarily mean that your server will stay online for a longer period, it's a free forum after all everyone has the rights to advertise his project and the user is completely free whether if she/he want to play on his server or not.
Even though there's the 20 posts restriction to post a valid image and people heavily spamming like crazy every day.

I actually agree with you but in a different way, I believe there should be some kind of 'quality control' done by the moderators themselves replacing the whole idea of only allowing old members to advertise because even some of the old members are as you say 'scumbags' and I understand where some people are coming from when they say things like 'this is a free forum, people can post whatever they like as long as they're following our rules' but it is because of this that there are so many servers with unpleasant qualities which is causing a reduction in the amount of silkroad players and soon there might not even be any left. So unless the way the forum is running changes, don't expect anything else to change.

tho that i agree posts doesn't prove in anyway possible that the server is going to be good but at least being an old member means that at least you know a thing or two or at least got some support from other members who knows their shit it gotta means something

and about spamming i kinda thought of it, but i think you are missing the point its not about number of posts, or being an old member, its about the idea itself i mean making restrictions even if its stupid is alot better than making no restrictions at all that if you guys are not planning to do anything about it at all

but if you are planning there is a lot of way to ensure the quality of the servers to turn this section back to its golden age rather than that (and excuse my language) dump, i mean people are seriously dumping shit in that section
