you can only do it visually, and it changes back to normal when you log off. visually as in only appears differently in chat.
The names themselves are server side, so no you can't change them for good.

Umm theres only 1 way. You get your friend to login from a different ip and delete your character. THEN YOU get another friend to create a new character with the same name then you email support saying you got hacked and your char was deleted. They try to recreate but cant so they ask for a new name to give it and you give them a new name. BUT the process could take weeks depending on how overloaded support is.

BUT if u hack then UR account is ganna be BANNED OR acclaim WONT DO ANYTHING and u'll just END UP like a TOTAL NOOB with a DELETED CHARACTER
