for 1000 player you need a min of 16 gig ram , 280-500 gig hard drive space , windows server 2008r2 and SQL 2008r2 , this is the min you can use to run a SRO server if your going to open ALL areas and have fortress wars and add any new maps , there are allot of server packages out there you can get with better stats for about the same price as the min setup . if you need help let me know and i can set you up with a good server company and help you get a server going .
