Evasive Guardians [Classic Experience]

Welcome to EvasiveGuardians a modern rendition of Classic Conquer. Here you will find a Classic based server with a bit of a twist to it.
Everything that you expect from a classic server can be found here & more, with active staff and updates every two weeks!
Updates fluctuate so some may be bigger than others, but all-in-all the effort is made here to provide players with new content such as; new events and an improvement on existing systems, etc.

EvasiveGuardians is a Classic based server with features as described below:

1. Old Jump, No Lotto, No new classes, and No Talismans!
2. Level 130
3. Original Classes: Trojan, Archer, Taoist, and Warrior
4. Starter packs up to level 70. At level 70 you will have a full unique gear set with one 1-socket weapon
5. 1st Reborn

6. The composing system is Classic which does not include + stones. Max +9
7. Spamming Meteors in TwinCity for sockets
8. Proficiency can be gained by using AOE skills now as well as regular.
9. Drop rates are lower rates, and Experience are Medium/Hard rates
10. Weekend events: %10 increased drop rates.

11. Random drop rate increases on hourly interval[stacks with weekend drop rates].
12. Heavens Blessing (20% exp) when voting.
13. Customized VIP Center; new VIP system with customizeable settings.
14. Extra Warehouses.
15. Events; Hide & Seek, etc.

16. Classic Quests such as; Blue Mouse, MoonBox Quest, CelestialStone quest etc.
17. No Potency [BattlePower]
18. Dis City with a twist
19. PK enabled in TwinCity
20. Unique GuildWar benefits.

First patch is out, and boy are we excited! Firstly there are a lot more
improvements to the server side as well as some fixed issues we have
encountered... there are some minor bug fixes with the Starter Pack
dialogue as well.

First things first HillMonsters aren't the only bad boys in Desert City who
drop emeralds, we have now made it to where RockMonsters drop them too!

There has been an improved exp boost to proficiency, as well as a change-
up in the ProficiencyGod NPC. It now costs 1,500,000 gold to upgrade your
proficiency per level.

As for quests let's talk about the new quests that are going to be added. We
will not spoil the details already because we want you to be surprised, but
the reward that you can get from these quests will be beneficial to new
players. We are currently working on these quests so stay tuned, and listen
in for hints in the following posts.

Unfortunately Hide and Seek Master in TC has encountered a bloop in her
system so that is on hold until we can get her to cooperate with us. (The
Event itself is closed due to conflicting data). =]

And for all you pkers here is another addition to the patch: You will not go to
jail when you are killed with red name status.
When killed with black name status you will still go to jail!
‪#‎NOTE‬: when killed as red/black name you have a chance to LOSE the gear
you're wearing!

They have also responded to my review on their forums, giving feedback on everything I mentioned of what should be changed and/or added and most of the things that were mentioned they reacted very positive to, so that is also really nice! they really do care about what players have to say!

Hello, my name is Sofia, or Sophia, whichever you prefer.

I have been playing the server since release which was 4 days ago. Since then I have put a fair amount of hours into the server.
My account is currently Archer, level 112 and 0 reborn.
I will be talking about what I did to get to where I am on the server today. I will mention things I would like to see added, and things I would like to see changed.
These suggestions also came from "Obzen" and "Huntress". The things I will mention will also include things about the website. In the end I will talk about the VIP system and after that I will give my final words & thoughts (the actual review)

Normally I am a very lazy typer, but for this occasion I will try to type as proper english as I can to get the message over as best as I can. My english is nowhere near perfect, so please bare with it.

First I will talk about how I found the server.

I have been looking for a classic private server for quite some time but failed to find a good one, most were just wanna-be "classic" servers which might aswell could have implemented 1000cps per kill since it wouldnt make much difference..
After awhile I saw a server on xtremetop100 which said "Classic server being released Feburary 2nd" without any extra information, so naturally I went on to investigate.
I read everything they had on the forums under the topic "server information" and I loved it! So after a short waiting time the server was released (was about a day later)
and I have been playing it daily since.

I will now talk about what I did to get my account to where it is today, if you want you can skip to the actual review part.

Day 1:

The server was 10 minutes(+-) old when I first logged in. So ofcourse no one was online yet, beside one more player. I started with scatter so that was a really big +.
I went on to make progress on the server. After about 1 hour I reached level 30. Around this time one of the staff members started to plvl players in Bird Island to help out.
They are still doing this multiple times a day lasting about 1 hour each (sometimes longer).
With the double EXP I got from the StarterPack at level (I think) 50 I managed to get to level 67 in 1 plvl session.
Since I got plvled quite alot I lacked behind with my Bow Proficiency Level, but I got it up to date really quick since it gives me bonus Profiency exp with every kill I make, doesn't matter if I killed the monster with scatter or single attack. Since the server was released in the evening for me I couldn't do much more than hunt afterwards.

Day 2:

This day I decided to donate for VIP since I really liked the benefits you received from it. So the first thing I did that day on the server is donate for VIP.
VIP helped me out alot in the early stages of the server. I was able to enter lab for free, so I didn't had to level up low level accounts for 2k virtue points.
With the gear I received from the StarterPack (full unique gear set) I went on to level up for 2 hours at lab1. First hour with the Double EXP I received from LoveStone.
You can claim 1 hour Double EXP every 12 hours if you are blessed, which you can receive from voting for the server.

The second hour I used up the StarterPackLv70. This gave me another hour of Double EXP. It was also the last StarterPack I received.
I managed to proceed to level 91 in just 2 hours. Since I was feeling lazy I decided to donate for Meteors to help me out a little, even though I didn't really need it, I could've just hunted for it.
Afther I upgraded all my gear I went to hunt in Ape Mountain MinMaqacue for a few hours. I couldn't take off my bow because I leveled it up in the market and the Bow Proficiency was too high.
I hunted till my Bow Proficiency reached level 9. Which as I mentioned before took a few hours. (about 2 hours and 20(+-) minutes)

Day 3:

While I was hunting at MinMaqacue the day before I managed to get to level 92. The first thing I did, after voting for blessing so I could get the Double EXP was going to lab1 again to level up for an hour. In 1 hour I managed to level 98 and in the 90% EXP. I stayed in lab1 till I was level 100.
I made my bow super from the DBs I hunted at MinMaqacue the day before and made the 2nd socket in the bow aswell.
When I upgraded everything I went to Desert City to kill Sandmonsters for the Proficiency EXP boost. I didnt receive any at Ape Mountain anymore so I was forced to go to Desert City.
After about 5k kills I got my proficiency up to level 10, and so I was able to upgrade my bow to level 100 and being able to take it off again.

I hunted for another 2 hours at MinMaqacues because they were the best place to hunt at at the time. With all the DBs I hunted I decided to make my necklace which was level 97 at the time super. After 3 DBs I managed to get a socket! I was super excited to be the first to get a socket from spamming in tc! I tried to do the same with the ring but I went to super without socketing sadly, my luck ran out.

I went to Titan and Gano to get some EXP Potions for future leveling. After I got 3 EXP Potions I decided to go to AlienSerpents to level up as much as I could.
The EXP was epic compared to lab1! I received about 0.700 per scatter at a big spawn compared to the 0.300 in lab. I was able to level up rather quickly.
Around level 105 the leveling progress started to go noticeably slower than when I first started to level there. In the end I got to level 109 with about 1 minute to spare on my Double EXP.
I made a guild around this time and started to hunt in the GuildWar Map. Because my guild didn't win GuildWars I had to pay 10k gold to get in.
This place is amazing! It has like 10+ seperate spawns made for water farming, and a HUGE area to hunt at! Though you didnt receive any value EXP from the hunting area it was still a really good place to focus on gathering meteors, dbs, etc.. I hunted about 30k kills in 2-3 hours and called it quits for the day.

There is a NPC in the GuildWar Map that brings you to the Level Map. I couldn't enter because my guild didn't win GuildWars. So I can't give any information on that.
You can find information about it on the forums. Server Information > GuildWar Prize Information.

Day 4:

Since I needed level 11 Bow Proficiency to wear a level 105 bow, and level 110 bow I decided to level up at AlienSerpents with the Double EXP from LoveStone. So I could upgrade my ring to 110 for more damage output at Birdmans. = faster killing = faster bonus Proficiency exp.
The EXP was nice till I reached level 110. At this time the EXP I received was alot lower than before, peaking at around 0.170 per scatter at a big spawn.
I managed to get to 112 in just under 1 hour. I upgraded everything beside my bow. Before I went to Bird Island to level up my Bow Proficiency Level with the boost I get per kill there, I decided
to try to get a Moonbox from the Moonbox quest. Because my bow was level 100 I didn't deal as much damage as I'd want to..
Since I wanted to level my Bow Proficiency Level aswell I gave up after 6 entrys. 2 out of 6 entrys I ended up in Death Map. As it is a little much it just makes the SmallSash more valuable.
You can get a SmallSash by qoute "Defeat the UltimatePluto in Dis City to gain a SashPoint. You can trade them in with me for a SashToken!"
The SashToken can be used to gain a SashToken or be sold.
I wasn't able to try out Dis City yet because I wasn't level 110 at the time, but there is information about it on the forums under Server Information > Dis City.

After trying the MoonBox quest I went to Bird Island to level up my Bow Proficiency. It took about 8k kills at Birdmans to get it to level 11.

This is where I currently am. I will now talk about the website and after the about the VIP, if it is worth it or not.
At the very end I will give my thoughts about what should be changed, or added.

But lets start about the website:

I was talking to "Obzen" about it and she (female character in-game, I don't know if she/he is actually female) said she didn't like the website design.
She even went as far as saying it would drive players away from the server. Though I don't agree on that point I do think things need to be added on there.

For example:
1. server time. We don't have a in-game clock so it would be nice to check the server time on the website.
2. Top ranking. I am quite competitive when it comes to conquer private servers and I want to see where I am at compared to other players.
3. Online count. As good as every server has this, so I am not sure why this isn't added yet. Probably because the server is so new, but I would like to see one!

Those are the main things I want to see on the website. The layout itself doesn't really bother me so if you ask me that doesn't really have to be changed, but as you can see of what I wrote before: the opinions differ quite drastically.

Now, lets talk about the VIP, what has it to offer and is it really worth it?
First of all: VIP lasts for 30 days. You can't stack VIP so you can only use it once per month.

VIP really helped me in-game in a sense of saving time. The features are useful and interesting.
For example:
I can enter lab for free, for a unlimited amount of times. This really helped me same time. I didn't have to level up low level accounts to get the virtue points I needed to enter.
So I could go in and out without having to pay anything.

The other thing that really helped me time-wise is the VIP-teleporter. He is located in the VIP-Center. I can directly teleport to every main city and other maps like: 2nd Ape Mountain map, MeteorZone, Wonderland and AdventureZone (Alien Serpents)

VIP helps a lot with hunting aswell. I automatically receive DBs and Meteors in my inventory, unless my inventory is full, then it drops on the ground.
When I killed a monster with either 10 Meteors or 10 DBs in my inventory they would automatically scroll up. This is a function of VIP that can be seperately disabled for Meteors and DBs in the VIP-Center at VIP-Settings.
It tells you when a +1 item drops, it doesn't tell what kind of item it is so you have to go look for it. This is the same for Elite and Super items.

Inside the VIP-Center is a NPC called "Mr.KnowItAll". He tells me how many monsters I have killed and how many per main map with details on every monsters inside that map.
The feature isn't really practical but it's nice if you want to know how many Birdmans, or MinMaqaues you have killed so far etc..

Next up is the VIP-Storekeeper. This NPC sells every city scroll + a VIPCenter scroll. This scroll teleports you directly to the VIP-Center so you don't have to go to the market first, so that is also really nice.

And at last, VIP players get a really cool blue aura, you can disable or enable this in the VIP-Center at VIP-Settings, you can see how your settings are configurated everytime you log-in.
It also tells you how long you have left on your VIP at login.

Given all the features it is really worth donating for it. It costs 5 dollars, you can also sell the VIPToken in-game so you don't have to donate for it. I personally haven't regretted it.

Now, MY THOUGHTS & THE REVIEW.
There are a few things I am missing on the server and a few things I would like to see changed, so lets get into it.

First of all, this server is not for lazy people. Specially since the server is brand new and there isnt anyone who can plvl you beside the staff.
It took me 4 days to get to 112, 3 super items(1 socket necklace by luck), bow +2 with 1 ref dragongem and 1 normal dragongem.
If you are not into servers with the classic feel then this server is NOT for you! Keep that in mind when you decide to play or not!

The leveling and hunting felt great. You have a good sense of progression over-time on this server. It takes time to get to where you want to be and it feels rewarding when you get there.
The weekends have 10% increased drop rates so that is also really nice. You can notice the drop rates being better in the weekends. The difference is not major but it is definitely there,
StarterPack helps A LOT in the beginning, but a 300 kill quest would be a nice addition to give that extra boost while leveling.
There are a lot of things I couldn't try out yet but this is what I got so far!

There are a few things I am missing on the server though.
Here are a few things I want to mention:

1. Quests. I do not have enough to do beside hunting and leveling at the moment. I want to see some quests that I can do. Someone else already suggested the 300 kill quest to help players along with the leveling and Silent[PM] reacted very positive to that post, so I am happy about that.

2. Events. There is 1 event called Hide & Seek but it is disabled right now because it was conflicting with some data or something (they talk about it in the patch notes)
I hope to see that event back soon with maybe some other events. I am not looking for hourly Last Man Standing or some bullshit like that. Just fun event that are maybe daily or even weekly. Something to look forward to.

3. Stack-able MP potions. I spoke with Obzen about this. He says that he would really like to see stack-able MP potions so he can carry more with him to level up. I also think that would be a positive addition to the server.

4. Login global message. Since the server is so new it would be nice to see when someone logs in. This way players know they're not alone on the server and can talk to one another. I would gladly welcome such a feature to the server, till the server gets popular enough where it doesn't need such a thing anymore.

5. Spawns. The current spawns are really good, but I feel like there isn't enough of them. If it is possible to add in more spawns to cover more ground with monsters then that would be awesome! I already like the spawns as they are but at some places there is a lot of empty ground.

6. VIP features. I might not be in the right place to complain because VIP already has so many things to offer without it being OP, but I still want to say a few things.
VIP players do not get auto-loot for gold. I think having that would be a really good addition to the VIP features.

I also would like a option to disable and enable DB auto loot. Right now I am missing the thrill that hunting gives me when I find a Dragonball. I want to see it on the ground sometimes, I want to hear that sound when it drops. VIP kinda takes that away.

And lastly it would be nice to have a VIP-garment aswell. This is probably asking for too much but it would be nice.

I know the PMs are working on the server to improve it and I am happy they are actively doing that. I can see this server becoming really big with the right additions to the server.
The server has all the right fundamentals a classic server needs. The levelings feels good and so does the hunting. Now we just need more content! (which the PMs are working on)

Those are the main things I want to see on the website. The layout itself doesn't really bother me so if you ask me that doesn't really have to be changed, but as you can see of what I wrote before: the opinions differ quite drastically. Now, lets talk about the VIP, what has it to offer and is it really worth it? First of all: VIP lasts for 30 days. You can't stack VIP so you can only use it once per month. VIP really helped me in-game in a sense of saving time. The features are useful and interesting. For example: I can enter lab for free, for a unlimited amount of times. This really helped me same time. I didn't have to level up low level accounts to get the virtue points I needed to enter. So I could go in and out without having to pay anything. The other thing that really helped me time-wise is the VIP-teleporter. He is located in the VIP-Center. I can directly teleport to every main city and other maps like: 2nd Ape Mountain map, MeteorZone, Wonderland and AdventureZone (Alien Serpents) VIP helps a lot with hunting aswell. I automatically receive DBs and Meteors in my inventory, unless my inventory is full, then it drops on the ground. When I killed a monster with either 10 Meteors or 10 DBs in my inventory they would automatically scroll up. This is a function of VIP that can be seperately disabled for Meteors and DBs in the VIP-Center at VIP-Settings. It tells you when a +1 item drops, it doesn't tell what kind of item it is so you have to go look for it. This is the same for Elite and Super items. Inside the VIP-Center is a NPC called "Mr.KnowItAll". He tells me how many monsters I have killed and how many per main map with details on every monsters inside that map. The feature isn't really practical but it's nice if you want to know how many Birdmans, or MinMaqaues you have killed so far etc.. Next up is the VIP-Storekeeper. This NPC sells every city scroll + a VIPCenter scroll. This scroll teleports you directly to the VIP-Center so you don't have to go to the market first, so that is also really nice. And at last, VIP players get a really cool blue aura, you can disable or enable this in the VIP-Center at VIP-Settings, you can see how your settings are configurated everytime you log-in. It also tells you how long you have left on your VIP at login. Given all the features it is really worth donating for it. It costs 5 dollars, you can also sell the VIPToken in-game so you don't have to donate for it. I personally haven't regretted it. Now, MY THOUGHTS & THE REVIEW. There are a few things I am missing on the server and a few things I would like to see changed, so lets get into it. First of all, this server is not for lazy people. Specially since the server is brand new and there isnt anyone who can plvl you beside the staff. It took me 4 days to get to 112, 3 super items(1 socket necklace by luck), bow +2 with 1 ref dragongem and 1 normal dragongem. If you are not into servers with the classic feel then this server is NOT for you! Keep that in mind when you decide to play or not! The leveling and hunting felt great. You have a good sense of progression over-time on this server. It takes time to get to where you want to be and it feels rewarding when you get there. The weekends have 10% increased drop rates so that is also really nice. You can notice the drop rates being better in the weekends. The difference is not major but it is definitely there, StarterPack helps A LOT in the beginning, but a 300 kill quest would be a nice addition to give that extra boost while leveling. There are a lot of things I couldn't try out yet but this is what I got so far! There are a few things I am missing on the server though. Here are a few things I want to mention: 1. Quests. I do not have enough to do beside hunting and leveling at the moment. I want to see some quests that I can do. Someone else already suggested the 300 kill quest to help players along with the leveling and Silent[PM] reacted very positive to that post, so I am happy about that. 2. Events. There is 1 event called Hide & Seek but it is disabled right now because it was conflicting with some data or something (they talk about it in the patch notes) I hope to see that event back soon with maybe some other events. I am not looking for hourly Last Man Standing or some bullshit like that. Just fun event that are maybe daily or even weekly. Something to look forward to. 3. Stack-able MP potions. I spoke with Obzen about this. He says that he would really like to see stack-able MP potions so he can carry more with him to level up. I also think that would be a positive addition to the server. 4. Login global message. Since the server is so new it would be nice to see when someone logs in. This way players know they're not alone on the server and can talk to one another. I would gladly welcome such a feature to the server, till the server gets popular enough where it doesn't need such a thing anymore. 5. Spawns. The current spawns are really good, but I feel like there isn't enough of them. If it is possible to add in more spawns to cover more ground with monsters then that would be awesome! I already like the spawns as they are but at some places there is a lot of empty ground. 6. VIP features. I might not be in the right place to complain because VIP already has so many things to offer without it being OP, but I still want to say a few things. VIP players do not get auto-loot for gold. I think having that would be a really good addition to the VIP features. I also would like a option to disable and enable DB auto loot. Right now I am missing the thrill that hunting gives me when I find a Dragonball. I want to see it on the ground sometimes, I want to hear that sound when it drops. VIP kinda takes that away. And lastly it would be nice to have a VIP-garment aswell. This is probably asking for too much but it would be nice. I know the PMs are working on the server to improve it and I am happy they are actively doing that. I can see this server becoming really big with the right additions to the server. The server has all the right fundamentals a classic server needs. The levelings feels good and so does the hunting. Now we just need more content! (which the PMs are working on) I hope this review helped you decide to play the server and I hope that the PMs will listen to us to improve the server to become even better than it already is! - Divorce NPC will take normal Meteors to divorce instead of a MeteorTear during this event.

Patch Notes v1.2

Since everyone is in such an early stage of the game, beside maybe 1 or 2 archers who are a bit ahead already,
we decided to disable GuildWars for this month.

The LevelMap will be enabled 24/7 for everyone, so will the GuildWar Map in general.
Once there is enough firepower on both sides (we hope next month) we can add the guildwars back in.
This is to prevent easy GuildPrize taking. The last thing we want to do is encourage the players who are ahead already to take a bigger lead than they already have.
We want the game to be fair for everyone, that is the reason why we made this decision.
And ofcourse, if we can add GuildWars back earlyer, we definitely will.
