Strange event

Something really messed up happened while I was fishing: suddenly (several feet away, Tir lake) dozens of treasure chest/mimics appeared, along with hordes of Stone Imps and Stone Hounds. I killed most of them with Thunder and normal attacks, gaining a load of prof and exp in the process, as well as weaving/blacksmith scrolls and monster parts.

I'm wondering what caused this, who did it, and how to recreate it.
I'm guessing someone copied the packets from a fishing boat catch, and spammed them on the lake. (just my newb guess)

I still haven't found a way for this, as spamming the packets only gives the message "caught a chest" with only 1 showing up.

To be more specific, there were at least 20 chests and all were in the exact same spot, facing different directions.

Then you're not doing it right. ;)

There's been an increased activity of GMs recently, I'm not sure. Probably because of all those people in arena godmoding and being reported. Packet editing things like treasure chests would probably be a recieve packet, not a send. And even if you would get it each treasure chest has a different code for it, so you'd probably crash.

In ruairi, Chibiichan or however you spell it, leader of Edgepunisher, was using something like that or that and getting the enchants scrolls. He fished a bunch of and then opened them up. It was kind of funny seeing all the stone monsters take over tir xD
