Can steam wallet codes be revoked ?

Hey guys,
I have already bought wallet codes at 50% off and I never had a problem with them.

However I'm curious if anyone ever had a problem with a steam wallet code which they redeemed on their account.

Did your account get banned or what happend ?

They can get revoked, it takes usually up to 48 hours if its got bought over Steam directly before. If the faked key got bought over 3rd party the chance for a revoke is pretty low, but still can happen sometimes.

Steam will remove the money from your account + all games u bought with the faked walled.
