Please Help running Project Alpha

Im trying to run 9d private server on a windows 8.1 machine. I have disabled the windows firewall and added the folder to exceptions. The host file is replaced. and the Laucher shows updated to version 223. However on clicking play nuthing happens. Just see a command prompt which says starting client. Please any Enter to exit this console. Please help as its last day of event.

At the moment, we do not support win8.1

wthen how do i play? which windows do u support. can i install on vmware?

Yes, installing VMware would be a solution.

would that cause any problems in game play? Also is this the last day of christmas event? is there any other option to recieve xp cards to catch up?

would this windows version work Windows XP PROFESSIONAL SP3 Jan 2015 + SATA Drivers [TechTools.net]? would installing windows 7 have any benefits as regards to game play /performance?

The christmas event is over.
And no problems in gameplay as far as I know, Adek was using it.

Im still unable to run checker.exe even after installing window 4.0 framework on windows xp pack 3. Error : "Unable to find a version of runtime to run this application". Does it support both 32 and 64 bit OS? Does it support windows 7 ?

Strange... Yes, try 7 please. It should support XP too since netframeworks 4.0 was the last thing supported on XP and that's the version checker was developed in.
Btw, install 4.5 on 7.
