Exporting 3D models from the new 3D client?

I wanted to tamper with the Source Engine or the goldsrc, my idea was to create a DλrkOrbit Remix, and i was wondering if exporting the 3D models from the game could be possible or if someone knows how to do it.

There is no point creating a game that has copyrighted models. You can't sell it , you can't make it online. Best thing would be to create something like that DarkOrbit Remix or something, but what's the point fighting with AI.

It could be released as no-steam mod
