Offline Server Help! (Client won't patch)

Hi,

I just set up my offline server by following ZeroBurners' guide. I got it working flawlessly and it did really work for like 2 days.

So I started up the server then I opened the client but it said invalid client version. I checked the ndreg.xrg and it was altered (to gamersfirst IP addresses instead of my VM's ipv4 address). I changed it back to my VM's ip (correctly, no typos) and it started up but I got a bunch of error messages so I ended up deleting the client and extracting it again. I changed the ndreg to my vm's ip again and now it won't patch. :S

Here's what I did / checked so far:

1. Firewall is off on both VM and PC.
2. NDREG.XRG has the correct values.
3. PATCH.XSC insidie apache2 folder has the correct values.
4. Apache server is running (correct options and configuration ofc)
5. Hosts file has the correct values.

Can anyone help pls?

Problem solved!

I ran CheckProcedures.py twice and it worked.

As per the docs, you need to have it running on a regular basis. To be on the safe side, might as well do as guide says and schedule a task to run it on boot (login) and every day just after "midnight" (00:00).

Should pretty much cover it, ie, if the box is left on, it runs at midnight, and if you reboot the box, it runs as soon as it comes on.

What VM you using btw? 9D hated my VMWare one and would cause all sort of shit to happen on the VM as soon as i launched the client on the host.
