elite gold questions.

OK I have been reading through the help files and the site trying to understand fully the elite gold setup. I understand that it allows for safe purchases and etc on the market. what I am confused about is how does one go about exchanging it back to $$ after being paid with it. Is t something where it has to be traded for between people on the market? or is there a place in the site that I am missing where I can withdraw it for $$?
