CO 1.0 to 2.0

Just read it on the conquer official forums. So i'll post it here before they delete it. I'm not taking any credit for this. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

You need to have the Conquer 2.0 client, delete the server file, then take the 1.0 server file and put it in the 2.0 file. Log in to 2.0 and choose the server.

I'm playing it right now and i sometimes get errors but just ignore them and keep playing.

EDIT: ok to fix the error just copy and syndicate.tga from conquer 1.0/data/pic/sundicate.tga to conquer 2.0/data/pic and just relog into co 2.0 and that should fix it

i think someone may have posted how to do this but dont rember.But a nice post i may try .I didnt befor when i heard how.

so wats good about playing co2 for co1? less lag? =P i'm having so much lag with co1... always dc every 5mins

basically, this lets you use the CO2 client with the CO1 servers :D

yea the title IS misleading.. makes it sound like i can take a 120 and fuck aroudn with all the weaklings on the co2 servers. unfortunatley i cant :(]

lol just be careful i read somewere that ppl caught using 2.0 client on 1.0 gets banned because it causes errors for all the ppl around you it also seems to kick ppl around you with some illegal errors and ppl will screen shot and send it in so just watch it

Couldn't you edit the co 1 server thing with notepad and copy and paste it under co 2?
