So just today I've been having this issue where i cant log into the game, everytime it finishes running the auto patch instead of showing the log in screen it shows an error, and after that it just shows a white screen..

I tried reinstalling the game and for some reason it wont work..

Anyone that could help out?

Thanks!

No offense but this is a programming/hack forum. You could really just go to TQ's facebook page, forum or homepage and see their giant announcement about a known issue causing people to be unable to login if they downoaded the new flash updates.

That same post then contains info on how to fix the issue and a ETA on a proper fix from their side.

Adobe released a new version of Flash Player which somehow isn't compatible with TQ's client. The issue is currently affecting all of TQ's (latest) clients

TQ has issued a statement here with a temporary solution to the problem here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

TQ claims to have a fix out by Dec. 31st but we'll have to see about that.

How a company like TQ happen that a large company can not solve a problem and make themselves at great everyone trouble he paid the money and large amounts of the company and now, following the problems always happen how the company did not learn refreshes and I think the problem is not a flash player but is one of the company's servers the error message that means that the problem comes from the game and not of flash player

I think the main problem comes from the fact that they're still using flash player. I never even heard of a desktop game client using flash before Conquer Online came around, and I haven't heard of one using flash since. TQ is a software company, which means some managers got together, sat at a table, and planned a story for client aesthetics and the technologies that their programmers would use. Instead of continuing with one technology (DirectX), they introduced Flash for rendering the login and character creation screen.

Taken, Flash was very popular back in the day that Conquer 1.0 Alpha came around, but it was never popular nor did it ever succeed for desktop applications. So what the hell TQ, why are you still using Flash? Why did they deviate from what was a perfectly working model? How much effort does it take to convert what you have (just simple images and 2D animations) to DirectX or OpenGL (your new game standard)? What's up with this shit? I'm not pissed that it broke, I'm pissed that it broke because you're still using Flash.

When was the Flash-based login screen actually introduced? I'm pretty sure it was at least a while after CO 2.0 was released.

Flash has always been a requirement for Conquer Online, as far as I recall. Even back in 1.0, they had the flash requirement; Flash 6.0 or something like that. I'd have to look over the requirements again (I'm not on my home development machine right now). It's unfortunately a common software engineering problem where managers introduce a lot of shitty third-party technologies and expect that they'll work nicely together and be supported until the end of time. It's happened at my work even, and it's not pretty to manage.

I am W10 user and I can solve it easily.
I just uninstalled the latest Windows security update and accessed the game normally.
I think this can serve to Windows 8 as well.

This is a flash player problem that is currently being resolved.
Don't spend time trying to get around it. It should resolve itself.

"In today's release, we've updated Flash Player ActiveX for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. This release addresses a problem with Flash Player improperly loading in applications that have it embedded. We are working with Microsoft to provide this update to Windows 8 and Windows 10 users as soon as possible. Customers using Google Chrome or Windows 8.x/10 Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge will receive the update through the Google and Microsoft update mechanisms."

The version of flash that causes this problem is 20.0.0.267, the version that is installed when update KB 3132372 is installed. The version of flash that fixes this problem is 20.0.0.270. Hopefully, as adobe says above, this update will be sent out to Windows 8 and 10 users soon.

I had the same white screen issue when logging into Conquer Online. What fixed it for me was setting my display DPI to 96 (Normal) and, on Windows 10 32-bit, uninstalling the KB3132372 update.
