First of all, this is a guide from nulled and it's made by Anonymmous.

Now here is the guide:
1. Go here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
2. Submit your information and tell them how you accidentally purchased the wrong champion
and expect a refund.
Heres what i said:
Hey,
I was wondering if i can get a refund or replacement with a champion, i have accidentally
purchased Nautilus instead of Vladimir which was a big mistake. I sent you guys a email but had
no response for a long time. I still haven't received back an email, i am disapointed in this
service i am getting.
Thanks.

Greetings Summoner,
We do not do this normally, but I was able to make an exception and have refunded this
content for you.
The points have been added to your account, but they may not display properly until you go to
the Store and attempt to make a purchase. You do not need to complete the purchase as the
value should correct itself before you complete the transaction.
If you happen to have been online while I was operating on your account, you may notice a
short ~5 minute hold on your account. This is just to allow the database to re-sync and will be
over shortly.
This is a one-time exception. Your account is no longer eligible for any further refunds or
changes to your current request as the refund has been completed.
Just to let you know I have closed this request. If you have any other questions that are not
related to this refund please feel free to create a new request here:

Tried it sometime earlier (saw something similar on reddit) - Got my ip back and the champ was removed from my owned champ list.
In short you don't get any champs for free. :S

tbh, it takes so much time for this whole process. that you can actually play League and gather that much IP lol.

Tried, but need to wait for a answer.
I will let you guys know if it worked

This is why Riot implemented the give-back-system. This trick is valid for 2012 if I can remember that correctly. But nice to see, that this still does work.

Well, this is classic social engineering.
I'm not surprised that this has worked a few times (people have SEd far more expensive articles before), but don't expect Riot to fall for this if you overuse this method.
In order to understand why this kind of method still works, it's necessary to understand that, for most corporations, consumer satisfaction is extremely important.
An average LoL player will spend hundreds of $\€ on skins, which is essentially pure profit for Riot (skins are free to give if you're Riot).
A pissed off customer however will not spend any money on LoL (and likely switch to DOTA 2), so Riot only has to gain by giving people free skins (thus encouraging them to buy more with real $/€).

It's in their service policy to allow one extra refund. Not a trick, but well-known all around.
