Sticking with the literal meaning of this thread....

The most effective way to "update conquer.exe" would be to either

A: User the autopatch.exe file in your client to download any updated files TQ has released.
B: Download any missing patches from TQs website.

Tada! Your Conquer.exe will now be up to date as the latest one TQ intends for you to have.
